Jason’s heart-pounding duet with Carrie Underwood, “If I Didn’t Love You,” holds the top spot for the second week on both Mediabase/Country Aircheck Singles chart and Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The track is Jason’s 26th number one single and serves as the lead single for his upcoming studio alum, Macon, Georgia.

What’s one thing that sets you apart from other Jason Aldean fans? I was hospitalized in 2004 with a rare form of encephalitis. During my recovery, Hicktown was released and I listened to it non-stop. From then on, I was hooked. I believe your music helped me recover.

Tell us your favorite Jason Aldean related story. This photo is from a meet and greet the first time he performed at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA, but at the concert he didn’t see me coming to the stage and started to walk away. At the last second he saw me out of the corner of his eye and motioned for my mom to take me to the edge of the stage. Then he gave me a guitar pick!

What’s one thing that sets you apart from other Jason Aldean fans? I grew up in a rock-n-roll family with very little country influence. My music influence comes from my father and we were always listening to AC/DC, Def Leppard, etc. Jason Aldean opened me up to a different genre of music while still staying true to what my base is built on. It has also allowed my family and I a common thread to bond over. I love the mix of the country/rock vibe and his ability to stay true to himself and not to stray to what may be popular at a given time like so many other artists.

Tell us your favorite Jason Aldean related story. I have always bought tickets for myself and my family for every show that comes to Virginia. My boyfriend had never been to a concert when we got together and I made sure his first concert was Jason Aldean. This cemented his love for not only concerts but for Jason Aldean. I also think this cemented our relationship together. We have been together for over seven years and are still going strong. We plan our years around a few vacations to the beach and wherever Jason Aldean is playing. We even went almost 500 miles north to see Jason Aldean as a special trip to do something together that we both love.

Jason Aldean is looking back home with his upcoming 10th studio album MACON, GEORGIA. The new project reflects both where he’s from and how far he has taken his signature sound.

Aldean will roll out 30 tracks – 20 new tracks and at least 1 live hit off each of his previous albums – by April 22, 2022. The full release will also be marked by a commemorative disc vinyl set. The first 15 songs, including the Top 5 smash debut single “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood, are set to be released on November 12, 2021 and are now available for preorder. Fans can expect Aldean, working alongside longtime producer Michael Knox, to push his patented muscle Country sound to the limit with his hard rock, woozy barroom ballads, experimentation with hip hop and R&B, all while staying centered in country lifestyle.

“Where you were raised has such a big influence on who you become and for me it’s no different…especially from a music standpoint,” Aldean said. “My little hometown of Macon was heavily instrumental in my musical background. Growing up in an environment that was a crossroads between Country music, Southern rock, blues and R&B, it was just natural to blend different sounds in my own way.”
